Our recommendations
Just a Short Walk Away - Guntschna Promenade
Just a few minutes from our winery begins one of Bolzano’s most beautiful walks: the historic Guntschna Promenade. The path winds along the hillside above Gries, passing olive trees, oleanders, cypresses and other Mediterranean plants.
Along the way, there are beautiful views over Gries, Bolzano and the surrounding vineyards. The beginning of the promenade is around a five-minute walk from our winery.

Explore South Tyrol - The Dolomites
From Bolzano, the Dolomites are surprisingly close. A classic route leads over the Karer Pass into the spectacular mountain scenery of the Rosengarten and Latemar ranges, continuing towards the Sella Pass and Val Gardena.
If you prefer to leave the car behind, organised excursions are also available during the season, and many parts of South Tyrol can be explored conveniently by public transport.
Alpe di Siusi
Alpe di Siusi combines wide-open landscapes with spectacular views of the Dolomites. Walking trails, mountain huts and countless ways to spend a day in the mountains make Europe’s largest high-altitude Alpine meadow a rewarding destination throughout the year.
The area is easily accessible from Bolzano and makes an ideal day trip.
